Is it possible to combine Pantopraz and Entolactis?

Good morning, After a course of antibiotics Xifaxan before 14 days (for the treatment of SIBO), since October 4 I have been taking the probiotic Entolactis, yesterday I received from the orthopedist medication for back pain Rantudil Retard and Mydocalm Forte and I have during their use to take a protective Pantopraz in the morning on an empty stomach (for 15 days). Will the simultaneous intake of Pantopraz and Entolactis in the morning have any interaction? In what order to take these medications? Both are recommended for fasting. Can Pantopraz harm if I am diagnosed with SIBO?

Up to @Micha: Usually, the recommended dosage of PPIs is on an empty stomach 30 minutes before a meal. If in this case the manufacturer recommends otherwise, you can follow the recommendations contained in the leaflet. However, this does not affect the effect of the drug.

In the Pantopraz leaflet there is information to take it an hour before a meal, is this interval important?

Up to @Micha: 15 days is a short-term therapy. There is no need to worry.

Is the use of Pantopraz for 15 days a long period?

You can simultaneously take Pantopraz and Entolactis - these preparations do not interact with each other. In a nutshell - Pantoprazole inhibits the secretion of acid in the stomach, Entolactis delivers probiotic bacteria to the intestines. Pantopraz can be used half an hour before breakfast, Entolactis just before meals. In the case of people with SIBO, it is recommended to use drugs such as Pantopraz as short as possible, e.g. only during therapy with analgesics. Chronic intake of drugs that inhibit the secretion of stomach acid may be one of the reasons for the worsening of SIBO symptoms - so great caution should be exercised.
