How long does it take for me to give Sumamed since taking Ceclor?

Good morning, a child of 16m. was prescribed ceclor for throat infections. Unfortunately, he did not help and the doctor changed to sumamed, because the infection went lower. I gave Ceclor yesterday at 10 before the visit to the doctor, then I stopped completely. Can I give a new antibiotic safely? How much should be the interval between these active substances?

There is no need to use a break between antibiotics. They can even be given at the same time. Ceclor and Sumamed antibiotics differ in the type of bacteria they act on. Thanks to the combined, simultaneous administration, we obtain a wider spectrum of action (we destroy more types of bacteria). If you have discontinued Ceclor, you should give it right away, or simply after visiting a doctor, a new antibiotic Sumamed. It is worth mentioning the need to take probiotics in order to reduce the risk of bacterial flora disorders. An example of such a probiotic can be Dicoflor in drops: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/107702/dicoflor-baby-krople/apteki You can check both availability, prices and order with personal collection at the pharmacy.
