What face cream, instead of ointment with vitamins A and E, can I use for AD?

I have atopic dermatitis on my face. What cream can I use? So far, I have used ointment with vitamin A and E, the skin is oily, but my pimples come out. I am looking for such a cream so that I do not get pimples and that the skin is not oily, so that the cream is well absorbed.

Atopic dermatitis requires special care. Ointment with vitamins A and E may have an excessively comedogenic effect, so it is recommended to use cosmetics typically intended for atopic skin, e.g. CeraVe moisturizing face cream: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96978/cerave-nawilzajacy-krem-do-twarzy-spf-25-krem/apteki Bioderma Atoderm Nutritive nourishing face cream: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/7881/bioderma-atoderm-nutritive-odzywczy-krem-do-twarzy-krem/apteki Pharmaceris A Corneo Sensilium Dermo- repair cream soothing irritations, micro-damage: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/101260/pharmaceris-a-corneo-sensilium-dermo-naprawczy-krem-lagodzacy-podraznienia-mikrouszkodzenia-zaczer/apteki La Roche-Posay Toleriane Sensitive moisturizer: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/108289/la-roche-posay-toleriane-sensitive-krem-nawilzajacy-krem/apteki All of the above products can be ordered via GdziePoLek with home delivery or booked at a nearby pharmacy. I enclose articles in which atopic skin care is described in more detail: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/dermokosmetyki-na-atopowe-zapalenie-skory https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/leki-na-atopowe-zapalenie-skory-azs

To @Kornelia: Due to the fact that the preparations have a similar composition of excipients, the degree of absorption will be similar. Because these preparations are well absorbed and do not leave a greasy film on the skin, they will not stain clothing or bedding. A good solution will be the use of creams with urea or vitamins A and E. Soaking in calendula or goat's milk infusion alone may not be enough. Means with urea and vitamins can be purchased in pharmacies without a prescription. Here you can compare their prices in online pharmacies and order the preparation with home delivery or collection at a pharmacy, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/88397/ziaja-med-kuracja-ultranawilzajaca-mocznik-10-krem-do-rak-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/16737/cerkoderm-30-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/109553/idravitae-mocznik-35-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/22960/dermosan-nr-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/43873/linovit-ae-krem/apteki More here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-dbac-o-skore-i-zdrowie-zima

Thank you for your reply. What other hand creams would you recommend? Very dry skin - AD. Would it be helpful to soak your hands in an infusion of calendula or goat's milk? If so, how long can such enuresis be used? Please also inform me if Mediderm cream at Multiderm have the same degree of hydration? will Multiderm cream be absorbed in the same way as Mediderm cream? Will it not leave greasy stains on clothing, bedding, etc.?

To @Kornelia: Yes, these products have such similar compositions that they can be considered equivalent products. It should be emphasized that the body's reaction to specific products is an individual feature, so it is difficult to assess which of these preparations will be more effective in this particular case. The gdziepolek.pl service also allows you to reserve these preparations in the nearest stationary pharmacy or order them in a selected online pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/114579/multiderm-krem-azs-luszczyca-egzema-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/47457/mediderm-krem-krem/apteki

What is the difference between Multiderm and Mediderm? The composition of Multiderm cream: Aqua Purificata, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Ceteareth-20, Phenoxyethanol. Composition of Mediderm cream: Aqua Purificata, Petrolatum, Cetearyl Alcohol, Paraffinum Liquidum, Cetomacrogol 1000, Phenoxyethanol. Can they be treated as replacements? Which will be better for dry hands - AD?

For @Kasia: Emotopic oiling cream for the face, eyelids and body can be used in people with atopic dermatitis (AD). It is an emollient to use to relieve the symptoms of AD such as dry and peeling of the skin and itching. This cream can be used every day in the case of flaky and chronically dry skin of the face, eyelids and body prone to itching and inflammation. It contains oils that can clog pores, especially in the case of skin with tendencies, e.g. oily and acne-prone, but they are an inseparable element of cosmetics for atopic skin. Due to its properties, the cream is unlikely to absorb quickly.

Can Emotopic face cream be used for atopic dermatitis? If so, is the cream absorbed quickly and will it not clog pores?

To @Michalina: The creams mentioned below do not clog pores. Many examples of creams have already been given in previous replies in this thread - please read them.

Thank you. I would also like to ask whether the creams that you proposed do not clog the pores? Can you point me to any other trustworthy companies from which you can use face creams for combination skin?

A very good solution for combination skin is the moisturizing moisturizing soothing cream Bioderma Sébium Hydra: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/69734/bioderma-sebium-hydra-krem-nawilzajacy-do-skory-tradzikowej-krem/apteki Or Iwostin Purritin Rehydrin - moisturizing cream: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/38674/iwostin-purritin-rehydrin-krem-przywracajacy-nawilzenie-krem/apteki Gdziepolek.pl service also allows you to order products directly at home, or with collection at the nearest pharmacy.

What face cream should I use for combination skin? I am looking for a cream with Bioderma Sebium or Iwostin. But I don't know which one should I choose? Could I please give me the exact name?

As my friend wrote earlier, the selection of the right face cream is not based only on the type of skin. Before you choose the right cream for you, I suggest asking your dermatologist or pharmacist in a pharmacy for samples.

Małgosia (Anonymous, 37.248.152.) 1 year ago

Thank you. Do these creams that you gave are quickly absorbed, do not leave greasy spots on the face? Don't they clog pores? How long can they be used?

Małgosia (Anonymous, 37.248.158.) 1 year ago

Thank you for the information. I went to a dermatologist. I have seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea. The doctor prescribed ointments for lubrication and ordered the permanent use of face cream for combination skin, but did not say what? Therefore, I am looking for such a face cream, which will be for combination skin and at the same time allowed for seborrheic dermatitis and rosacea. For me, it is also important that the cream is quickly absorbed, does not leave greasy stains and it is important that it does not clog my pores. Could you recommend me a face cream that will meet all the requirements I wrote above?

For @Ma łgosia: The selection of the right face cream is not only based on the type of skin, i.e. dry, mixed, oily, but also on its other features, such as the tendency to acne or discoloration, sensitivity, sensitization, as well as the age of the patient and the general condition of the skin. The patient's preferences as to smell or consistency are also important. Usually, for people with combination skin, moisturizing creams with a gel, light consistency that do not shine during the day and do not clog pores work. In pharmacies are available, for example: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/91637/bioderma-hydrabio-gel-creme-lekki-krem-zel-nawilzajacy-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/109487/svr-hydraliane-legere-krem-krem/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/101258/pharmaceris-a-hyaluro-sensilium-kwas-hialuronowy-di-2-w-wodnym-kremie-do-twarzy-krem/apteki

What face creams can I use for combination skin?

For @Natalia: Which cream works best depends largely on individual preferences and skin. Personally, I had the opportunity to use creams from Bioderma and CeraVe and both are absorbed quickly, without leaving an oily layer on the skin. Such creams can be used several times a day, e.g. in the morning and in the evening. CeraVe: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/96978/cerave-nawilzajacy-krem-do-twarzy-spf-25-krem/apteki Bioderma: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/7881/bioderma-atoderm-nutritive-odzywczy-krem-do-twarzy-krem/apteki

Natalia (Anonymous, 37.248.152.) 1 year ago

Thank you kindly for your honest reply. Such creams I was just looking for. I would also like to ask which of them is the best in your opinion and whether the creams you have given are quickly and well absorbed? Is it not visible after their application that the skin on the face is oily? When is it best to apply them: in the morning or at night?

Klaudia Ćwiąkała Pharmacist, Editor

To @Natalia: The creams mentioned below are non-comedogenic, i.e. they do not cause clogging of pores and thus the formation of acne lesions. Such creams can be used daily. Mediderm or baby creams can clog pores and I would not recommend their use on acne skin.

Natalia (Anonymous, 37.248.155.) 1 year ago

Thank you. Won't I get pimples on my face after these creams? If not, how long can I use these creams? What do you think about the cream, e.g. Mediderm? Can it be used on the face? What do you think about moisturizing creams for babies on the face - those protecting against, for example, wind? Are they also allowed with atopic dermatitis on the face?
