Are erythema on the cheeks and dry skin side effects of using Spironol?
Hello for 5 days I take Spironol 100 in the morning and evening. This drug takes for the problem with acne. Three days ago I noticed erythema on my cheeks more or less at the nose line. After closer observation, I noticed red capillaries, the skin in these places is very dry. Is nest a side effect and you need to stop taking this drug?

Among the side effects of Spironol, I did not find information about the occurrence of erythema and visible capillaries. When using the drug, skin symptoms m.in such as rash and urticaria may appear. If the symptoms do not go away and intensify, you should report it to the doctor, who will decide on further Spironol therapy or its discontinuation.
