Discontinuation of the drug should be carried out on the recommendation and under the supervision of a doctor. Instructions for changing the dosage should be given by a specialist. The dose of the drug should be reduced gradually. The reduction in the daily dose of alprazolam should not exceed 0.5 mg at intervals of three days. Some patients may need to reduce the dose even more slowly. Alprox 0.25mg has a groove dividing the tablet.
