Good morning, I have been using hormonal contraception for over 1.5 years, however, for a month I have been taking different pills than before, namely Microgynon 21, is it possible that withdrawal bleeding will not occur? The last active tablet from the blister I took on Friday evening, we have Tuesday and bleeding is still missing, where with the previous tablets (Orlifique) also two-component has always already occurred ... I'm not pregnant, I even did a test to be sure.

When using Microgynon tablets, withdrawal bleeding usually occurs, which generally starts 2 - 3 days after taking the last tablet and may continue after the start of the next pack. Exceptionally, such bleeding may not occur. If all the tablets were taken at the right time, neither vomiting nor acute diarrhea occurred, and other drugs were not used at the same time, the likelihood of pregnancy is very unlikely.
