Is it possible to use cough syrups with the antibiotic Amoksiklav?
Hello. A 3 year old daughter has been getting Amiksoklav for a few days but she is very tired of coughing if I can give her some cough syrup with this antibiotic. ? Best regards.

The daughter has a dry cough probably caused by acute pharyngitis. Please recommend me a good moisturizing syrup because there are thousands of them and I do not know which one to buy 😢 The doctor said that tomorrow the daughter can go to kindergarten but we still use Amiksoklav only this cough tires her very much and I do not know whether to send her daughter tomorrow to this Kindergarten 🤔

For @Natalia: Give your child plenty of fluids and throat moisturizers. Sinecod can be given, for example, at night - if the cough tires at night. Sinecod does not cure cough, it only inhibits the cough reflex, so more bacteria accumulate in the respiratory tract and the infection can last longer. Therefore, a better option is to give moisturizing drugs, inhalation, etc. instead of artificially inhibiting coughing.
