Hello. Why can Afloderm be used only - 5-7days? (that's what the doctor told me). I had an improvement, but not entirely - is it possible to use for another 5 days ?

Afloderm contains alclomethasone, an anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, immunosuppressive and decongestant steroid on blood vessels. Corticosteroids are absorbed through the skin, so there is a risk of systemic side effects when using Afloderm. Precautions that are taken to prevent this from happening are to avoid using it on a large area of the body, on damaged skin, in large doses or for a long time. Not knowing your risk factors and not having knowledge resulting from your medical history, they can not recommend a longer than recommended use of the drug. If you have the impression that the effect of the drug is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor.
