Does oatmeal reduce the effectiveness of the Implanon contraceptive implant?
Good morning, I read that oatmeal through the fiber it contains can reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills, but do they also reduce the effectiveness of the Implanon contraceptive implant?

Oatmeal does not reduce the effectiveness of the implant, because the hormone from the implant is absorbed directly into the blood, and not from the digestive tract (where the eaten flakes go).
