Should I stop taking Acntac and Tetralysal if there is local redness and dryness?

For 5 days I have been using Acnatac gel and taking the antibiotic Tetralysal. Today I noticed local redness and dryness on my skin. It also bakes me a little. What to do in this situation? Should I stop taking the medication for a while? Please advise...

Thank you for sharing your case. The symptoms you notice are the side effects of Acnatac. Retinoids (here: tretinoin) belong to a group of drugs that give quite a number of side effects. They can cause irritation, dry skin, erythema and itching. However, this is not a reason to discontinue the drug.
