My 3 year old child gets Nasometin for the night for a runny nose (probably hay). After about 2 weeks of use, throat irritation and dry cough appeared (without fever and other disease symptoms). The doctor recommended Nebbud for laryngitis and discontinuation of Nasometin, after 5 days of therapy the cough did not disappear, a residual runny nose appeared, there were still no other symptoms of the disease. Could there have been any reaction to Nasometin?

While taking Nasomentin, an adverse reaction such as an upper respiratory tract infection may occur. This side effect appears often, that is, in no more than 1 person in 100. During the application of Nasomentin, incorrect administration and getting the drug into the throat may occur, which may lead to the appearance of a dry cough.
