Can I be pregnant if I started taking Yaz on day 3 of my cycle and had sex without additional protection?

On Sunday I had intercourse (18.09) then I also got my period in the evening. I should then take 1 contraceptive pill (YAZ) from a new blister. I took two at once on Tuesday afternoon and 3 pm (as I always accept in the evening) The planned ovulation was at 2.10. Yesterday (25.09) also the ratio without additional security. I started to denerate a little. Could fertilization have occurred through this first intercourse???

With short cycles, there is such a possibility. In order for contraception to be effective from the 1st tablet, it should be started on the 1st day of the cycle (on the day of bleeding).

Both intercourse on 18.09 and 25.09 should be considered as improperly secured and posing a risk of pregnancy. If you take 1 tablet of Yaz between the 2nd and 5th day of your cycle, it is recommended to use an additional contraceptive method for the next 7 days. Unprotected are the intercourse also taken in the week preceding the missed tablet: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/84769/yaz-tabletki-powlekane/apteki More about how to use contraception correctly, we wrote in the article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-prawidlowo-stosowac-antykoncepcje
