Is spotting when using Polaring normal?

Hi I have been using polaring for about 4 years and for the first time I have such a situation that stains .where I am already a week after the period .is it normal can happen?

Irregular bleeding and spotting are a common side effect of hormonal contraception, occurring especially during the first months after starting to protect yourself from pregnancy in this way. If vaginal discs have been used for a long time and mid-cycle spotting has not been observed so far, the event may not be related to the form of contraception used and a visit to the gynecologist is necessary to determine the cause.
