It is believed that some foods and food ingredients – including cranberry juice – can lower platelet counts. There are no detailed guidelines on when, how and at what number of plates cranberry juice can or cannot be given. In this situation - in my opinion - it will be safer "on the bladder" to apply another over-the-counter remedy or consult a doctor.
