Where do I get Alfadiol?

The only pharmacy allegedly having Decastriol is in Bialystok, probably they have several packages. Alpha D3, which was previously imported in target imports from the Netherlands, also did not appear anywhere in any pharmacy. Then there was a message that no further delivery is expected in September and no date was given, even approximately.

As our statistics show, the drug Decostriol is slowly appearing in pharmacies. This medicine contains calcitriol, a substance to which alfacalcidol (the active substance in Alphadiol) is converted in the liver. Thus, it cannot be treated as a strict replacement for Alfadiol. Before changing the method of treatment, it will be necessary to consult a doctor and a new prescription. However, this drug has a very similar effect (practically identical) and indications for use as Alfadiol and can be used in a situation where Alfadiol is not available. Currently, neither Alfadiol nor Alpha D3 are available in pharmacies. Further deliveries of Alpha D3 this month are not planned. However, in Poland, the drug Decostriol (calcitriolum) registered in Germany at a dose of 0.25 mcg and 0.5 mcg has been temporarily approved for sale, which allows the continuity of therapy to be maintained. The drug has already reached the Polish and should soon appear in pharmacies. This drug is not a direct replacement for Alfadiol, so you will need to consult a doctor and a new prescription.
