Folic acid may sensitise: Both folic acid and any of the other ingredients of this medicine (excipient). An allergic reaction to folic acid may be manifested by a rash, itching, swelling of the face, lips, tongue or shortness of breath (if you experience such symptoms, you should contact your doctor).
