No, Creon contains in its composition only a mixture of enzymes commonly called Pancreatin, which are involved in the digestion of food, it has no protective function on the pancreas. The basis for the protection of the pancreas is the observance of the diet and the complete abandonment of drinking alcohol and smoking. Herbal preparations containing m.in mother herb, dandelion root, dill fruit, nettle root, celandine herb, as well as vitamins A, D, E, K, B vitamins and antioxidants (e.g. vitamins C and E, zinc, selenium) can be used as an adjunct.
