Unfortunately, it is not possible to determine whether the dose of the prescribed drug is adequate, if they are not known, parameters such as m.in.: - age of the patient - diseases in which it is to be used - other drugs used, - the patient's state of health, other concomitant diseases. The dose of 50 mg can be both large: in a person who has not yet used the drug, in the elderly with liver dysfunction, and small – in the case of, for example, a young person suffering from schizophrenia, in which doses are increased up to several hundred milligrams per day. As you can see, the answer to such a question depends on many factors and it is not possible to give it on the basis of the question asked. Some scientific evidence indicates that quetiapine (Ketrel) may have addictive potential, but this effect has not yet been confirmed by high-quality studies.
