Hello, is a positive covid test result taken at home valid? Do I have to do it again after a teleconsultation? Will I get a sick leave if the home test is positive and there are symptoms of the disease? What does it look like now?

Any infection with fever and other symptoms such as cough or sore throat can be grounds for obtaining a sick leave.

Currently, it is rare to perform reimbursed tests for the presence of COVID-19. The doctor may issue a sick leave based on the symptoms of your illness, a positive result of a commercial test may be an additional indication for the doctor. Mandatory quarantines are no longer in force, so it is up to the doctor to decide whether you will be issued a sick leave.
