Side effects such as depression or apathy may occur while taking Zoloft, m.in. These are side effects classified as common. Zoloft is a medicine that contains sertraline, the active substance in the group of serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). The side effects of using SSRIs are usually strongest at the beginning of therapy.
