Is it possible to change Fluoxetine to Venlafaxine overnight?

Changing the antidepressant from fluoxetine to venlafaxine. After 15 days of use, the doctor decided to change the drug due to side effects or do you have to wait a few days or can you take venlafaxine instead of fluoxetine? The doctor says that you can replace them simply overnight, but I prefer to make sure.

If you change from an SSRI (e.g. fluoxetine) to an SNRI (e.g. venlafaxine), there is no need for a break or a gradual change - you can make a quick change overnight. Such a change is rarely accompanied by the so-called withdrawal symptoms.
