Is it normal for the stomach to hurt after Feroplex?

I have been taking feroplex for several days now, oral fluid. My stomach hurts terribly after him and twists me. I take it 2x a day 40mg/15ml. Is it normal that these can be side effects?

The side effects you describe are common when you are taking Feroplex (a preparation with iron). Possible occurrence of metallic aftertaste, nausea, flatulence, constipation, diarrhea or vomiting. Unfortunately, intolerance to iron preparations appears in patients taking oral preparations. Preparations with iron should be taken on an empty stomach (when taken once a day) or between meals. The drug can be drunk directly from the vial or after reconstitution in water. However, to reduce ailments, it is usually recommended to take iron immediately after a meal or reduce the dose of iron. Alternatively, a change to another iron preparation is still made (but this is decided by the doctor).
