Yes, the marshmallow syrup I proposed can contain up to 1% ethanol. Marshmallow root in the form of a loose herb for brewing is used as a means of shielding the mucous membranes in cough. Preparation according to the leaflet: 1 teaspoon of herbs soak 1-2 hours in a glass of cool water, boil, leave to cool and strain. Drink 1 cup 3 times a day.
