To @Wojtek:

The bacteria found in the gastrointestinal tract does not pose a threat to health, it is a component of the natural bacterial flora.
When taken in the right dose and in certain cases, e.g. during chronic diarrhea, this preparation can be a safe support for the daily diet.

The probiotic Sibogastrin contains Enterococcus faecium. Why? Everywhere on the Internet the fight against this type of bacteria is described.

To @Natalia: There are no studies available to determine whether the strains of Enterococcus faecium Rosell-26 and Bacillus subtilis Rosell-179®® contained in the probiotic Sibosgastrin can produce histamine. Probiotics from m.in. Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactococcus lactis and Lactobacillus plantarum (e.g. Sanprobi IBS) can be safely used. I enclose a link to the page where you can compare the prices of Sanprobio IBS in online pharmacies and place an order with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/69126/sanprobi-ibs-kapsulki/apteki

Can the probiotic Sibosgastrin be used if I have a food allergy to histamine?

For @Arek: When using Xifaxan, a better choice would be to choose a probiotic with a proven effect to prevent antibiotic diarrhea, e.g. Enterol: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/27293/enterol-250-kapsulki/apteki SIBOSgastrin should be introduced after the end of the treatment. On the attached page you can compare the prices of the preparation in online pharmacies and place an order with home delivery or collection at the pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/115019/sibosgastrin-kapsulki/apteki

For @Hania: It is recommended to take 1 capsule of Sibosgastrin per day for at least 20 days.

For @Hania: This probiotic does not contain strains of bacteria of the genus Lactobacillus.

Hania (Anonymous, 37.248.157.) 1 year ago

And doesn't this probiotic contain a strain of Lactobacilus? I ask because I have to absolutely exclude this strain because it intensifies SIBO even more.

The probiotic SIBOSgastrin® contains two probiotic strains: Enterococcus faecium strain, Rosell-26® strain of lactic acid bacteria Bacillus subtilis, Rosell-179® These strains support the proper functioning of the human intestinal microbiota and will also positively affect the process of bowel movements. I think that you can safely use this preparation in such an indication.
