Hi I took Spironol 3 months I stopped it and after half a year hair loss began again that redoubled strength. I wonder if it makes sense to go back to it so that it wouldn't be even worse. What should I do in this situation? How much can I take spironal? Maybe some other drugs will help?

Spironolactone (the active ingredient in Spironol) reduces the production of androgens, which results in the inhibition of the so-called androgenetic alopecia. It is therefore natural that discontinuation of the drug caused a recurrence of the problem. Spironol is of course used chronically in heart failure, ascites and nephrotic syndrome, hypertension, but this use is decided by the doctor. As an alternative in androgenetic alopecia, you can use scalp medications with minoxidil, such as: - Loxon 2%: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/45058/loxon-2-plyn/apteki - Loxon Max 5%: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/45059/loxon-max-5-plyn/apteki - Alopexy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/3821/alopexy-plyn/apteki - DX2LEK: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/100637/dx2lek-plyn/apteki Via WherePoLek you can order them with home delivery or collection personal in a nearby pharmacy.
