To @Iksik: No, the antibiotic does not pass through saliva and will not affect the contraceptive effectiveness of the pills. Even if the metabolites of the antibiotic were found in the body's secretions, they would be negligible amounts that, if ingested by another person, would not have a significant effect on their body.
