What to use to reduce local irritation after applying Aldara cream?

I used Aldara cream for 3 days for condylomas. Unfortunately, the vaginal area is very red and burning. Can I use Hexatiab globules to regenerate the vaginal area? Then go back to lubrication with Aldar cream again?

In this case, for regeneration, I would suggest globules with hyaluronic acid, e.g. Mucovagin. If the symptoms disappear, you can return to the use of Aldara cream. If the irritation recurs, please contact your doctor. I would like to point out that aldara is normally used 3 times a week for the treatment of condyloma, i.e. in the Monday, Wednesday, Friday scheme, for example. The drug can cause local irritation, but if it is used three days in a row, the probability of irritation increases sharply. If local irritation begins to be accompanied by general symptoms such as fever, malaise, nausea, headaches, chills, this is even an indication to stop using the drug and consult the attending physician. According to available sources, the symptoms you mentioned, such as redness, burning, itching and pain at the application site, may be common side effects resulting from the use of Aldara. According to the manufacturer, Hexatiab can be used as an adjunctive therapy in the treatment of condylomas, so it can be used in the current situation, especially since no cross-drug interactions between Aldara and Hexatiab have been confirmed. It is also worth paying attention to whether Aldara was used as recommended. The drug should be used no more than 3 times a week before bedtime. In the case of a significant increase in side effects, you should see the attending physician, perhaps he will propose a modification of the therapy.
