Can Plaquenil cause cardiac symptoms like Arechin?
Good morning. For half a year I have been taking arechin for ra. Now I'm going to switch to plaguenil. I'm afraid of side effects, unfortunately after arechin I have heart problems, felt but invisible trembling of the muscles of the legs at rest. I do not know if similarly plaguenil can reduce these symptoms for me. Best regards.

Like any medication, Arechin and Plaquenil can also cause side effects. Since both drugs have a similar mechanism of action, they can also have the same effect on the cardiac system. They may or may not be. It all depends on the individual case. Cardiac symptoms for Arechin and Plaquenil are not common and therefore may not occur.
