MonArte is a dietary supplement containing red fermented rice extract standardized for the content of Monacolin K. From June 22, 2022, all preparations containing Monacolin K in an amount greater than 3 mg have been withdrawn and cannot be on pharmacy sale (they have disappeared from Polish pharmacies). Studies have shown that such amounts can have a detrimental effect on human health. Dietary supplements also have side effects, contraindications and interactions with drugs and other preparations.
