Hello. Is the kn95 mask effective when I put it on caring for an elderly disabled person at risk? If I were infected, is there a good chance of transmitting the coronavirus despite a well-worn mask? Is it better to protect the usual chirug?

The KN 95 mask is another designation of the FFP 2 mask. The symbol 95 indicates the level of filtration provided by the mask. The KN 95 mask does not allow at least 95% of particles of harmful aerosols (including small and large) to pass through. The KN 95 mask limits the entry of infectious particles inside, thus infecting the person wearing the mask. It is a very effective protection against microorganisms absorbed by inhalation (against deposition on the mucous membranes of infectious material). So it will provide much better protection against punishment than a classic surgical mask, which only creates a physical barrier between the mouth and nose of the person wearing the mask and infectious particles from the environment.
