Hello, Can I use Dymiste if I am planning a baby? In addition, I take various vitamins (folic acid, magnesium, D3, collagen, calcium, omega 3)?

Dymista is a medicine that contains two active substances azelastine hydrochloride and fluticasone propionate. There are no data on the effect of Dymista on fertility in humans. Animal studies do not indicate an effect of fluticasone propionate on male or female fertility. A number of in vitro and in vivo studies in mice and rats have not shown genotoxic potential or carcinogenicity of azelastine hydrochloride. In female rats, azelastine administered orally at doses greater than 3 mg/kg/day (humans typically take a dose of 250 micrograms/body weight per day, in intranasal form, so that the exposure level is low) resulted in a dose-dependent reduction in fertility rate; in chronic toxicity studies, no substance-related changes in the reproductive organs in male and female subjects were observed. Due to the lack of data on the effect of Dymista on fertility in humans, when trying to get pregnant, the use of the drug should be carried out after consultation with a gynecologist.
