Both Hitaxa and Aleric Deslo Active contain the same active substance, i.e. desloratadine in exactly the same concentration of 0.5mg / ml. Hitaxa in a package of 150 ml as of today is on the list of reimbursed drugs. Which means that if a specific indication is met, we have a subsidy for the drug by the National Health Fund. It can be used from 1 year of age. Children from 1 to 5 years of age should be given the drug only after medical consultation. That is why Aleric Deslo Active contains information about the use of the drug from the age of 6. There are many examples of drugs whose composition is identical when it comes to a prescription preparation as well as without. However, they differ in indications for use. OTC drugs (i.e. available without a prescription) can be equally dangerous for us if they are used badly. They also have side effects, contraindications or drug interactions, their use does not release us from the obligation to consult a doctor or pharmacist.
