The doctor prescribed me trisequens and recommended that I start taking it when the symptoms of menopause became annoying. Recently they have intensified but I would prefer to reach for the patches. I am abroad and have no contact with my doctor. Can I use patches such as Systen Conti instead of prescribed? Thank you in advance for odp.:)

The decision to change the medicine should be made by your doctor. Systen Conti is available on prescription, so if you want to apply the patches, you will still have to go to an appointment or use teleadvice. Trisequens contains tablets with different proportions of hormones, which are designed to best adapt to the functioning of the body. Systen Conti patches contain one type of combination of hormones and their concentrations, which is why consultation is all the more necessary - they are not the same preparations. If you currently have a problem with finding a specialist, you can try to use the teleadvice available on our website in the E-VISIT tab (blue icon on the left).
