Hi, if I stopped taking the drug visanne for a week of time I can continue taking this drug after this time or only after menstruation?

Visanne is not a contraceptive and can be started on any day of your natural cycle. A break in the use of tablets carries the risk of recurrence of previous symptoms of endometriosis. A change in the use of the drug should be discussed with the attending physician.
