Are Asertin and Dutilox similar?
Hello. For 4 months I took Asertin once a day and gained a lot of weight through this drug 😩 the doctor prescribed me Dutilox but I read that it is almost the same. Are these drugs similar ??? I'm afraid that the weight will continue to grow.

During both Asertin and Dutilox therapy, uncommon side effects include weight gain. However, these drugs contain other active substances, so it is possible that the tolerance of Dutilox will be better in your case. Dutilox contains duloxetine, and Aserin - sertraline. Sertraline belongs to a group of medicines called selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors. Duloxetine increases the concentration of serotonin and norepinephrine in the nervous system. The profile of action on neurotransmitters in the brain is therefore slightly different for both drugs.
