Does geranium oil impair the effectiveness of Implanon NXT?

Good morning, can geranium oil inhaled for a few minutes affect the effectiveness of the Implanon NXT contraceptive implant?

Yes, geranium oil has a slight stimulating effect of estrogens, while this applies to contraceptive pills taken orally, whose absorption and pharmacokinetics in the body can be disturbed by inhaling excessive amounts of geranium oil. The situation does not apply in the case of an implant that resides under the skin, from where the progestin is absorbed directly into the bloodstream. Taking into account the above fact and also the fact that the content of geranium oil in the scented candle is small - there is no reason to worry. Inhalation of the smell escaping from the burnt scented candle does not pose a threat to reducing the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant.

I understand, but I would like to ask about the effect of the oil, because I read that it raises estrogen levels and should not be used by women using hormonal contraception. This also applies to aromatherapy.
