Victosis in combination with Estradot can cause bloating?

Good morning, does Victoza (Liraglutid) correlate with Estradot? ( I take Estradiol 75 mg ) I have a very bloated belly (although I have daily emptying). Did the drugs "not like" themselves? Best regards, Maria

To my knowledge, if bloating is caused by the use of the drug, then the cause is rather liraglutide itself, and not its interaction with estradiol. Drugs such as Victoza can theoretically alter the absorption of certain orally administered drugs, but in the case of hormone replacement therapies or contraception, hormone levels are ultimately as they should be and it is currently not considered a clinically relevant interaction, In the case of a transdermal drug - in the form of a patch, I no longer have this problem at all. I encourage you to write down products / meals, after which you observe flatulence or their severity. Perhaps, after eliminating some components, the flatulence will subside. If this is the beginning of Victoza treatment or a change in dose - symptoms such as bloating may also disappear spontaneously after 1-2 weeks. In the case of emergency help, you can use preparations for flatulence available in pharmacies without a prescription.
