For @Ewaewa: There are no clinically relevant drug interactions between Polocard and Metformax. These drugs can be taken simultaneously.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive answer. I still have a question because I also take metformax SR 500 for the night. In polocard he writes about interreaction with diabetes medications but metformax is not mentioned. Another doctor wrote me metformax and another told me to take a polocard. I showed a list of medications that I take to the doctor who recommended me polocard but I'm not sure if he got acquainted with it. Is there interreaction?

First of all, it is about drugs with a chemical composition from the NSAID group. The combination of the above-mentioned drugs causes an intensification of undesirable reactions, especially on the part of the gastrointestinal tract. Boswellic acids also have anti-inflammatory activity and are even classified as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compounds. Therefore, the time interval between the preparations must necessarily be maintained( a minimum of 6 hours after taking Polocard, a preparation from Boswelli can be used). And it is best to take preparations after a meal. The compounds contained in Boswellia serrata: incenzole acetate, phenolic acid acetyl-alpha-boswellic acid and acetyl-beta-boswellic acid have strong antibacterial properties. If in doubt, please consult the frequency of dosing with your doctor.

At polocard he writes not to use anti-inflammatory drugs and Boswellia is a substance that has strong anti-inflammatory properties. . So I understand that keeping the time interval of 4 hours will not be a problem?

You can. According to the leaflet, Polocard tablets should be taken after a meal, swallowing whole. Usually, however, looking at the doctor's recommendations, the tablets of the above drug are taken in the evening after afternoon tea or dinner. Boswellia can be used in the morning. Such a time interval will certainly be sufficient.
