Is pain and discomfort in the lower abdomen something normal?

Good morning. I suffer from chronic prostatitis several times I took an antibiotic. I was with a total of three urologists who, after the tests, found that in general it is no longer bad for me. The problem is that I feel discomfort in the lower abdomen, aching. The urologist stated that it had a psychological basis and recommended a visit to a psychologist. In fact, with increased stress, the pain intensifies. It takes about half a year. In connection with the above, I have a question whether such symptoms are something normal?

Pain or discomfort in the perineum, sometimes suprapubic area or intimate areas are quite characteristic symptoms of prostate problems, including prostatitis. If the presence of bacteria is found, antibiotics are included, but also analgesics and anti-inflammatory drugs, sometimes also additional preparations acting on the muscle and complementary treatment, e.g. physical therapy. It is difficult for me to answer whether in your case all therapeutic and diagnostic options have been exhausted, but pain and discomfort are difficult to assess as "normal" because they do not fit into the definition of health. However, if three urology specialists claim that there are no more abnormalities from the prostate and urinary tract and ailments on this background should not occur, then perhaps the cause is actually worth looking elsewhere.
