Can a Magvit B6 tablet be crushed?

Good evening, Can Magvit B6 (48 mg of magnesium ions + 5mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride be crushed and taken in this crushed form?

Magvit B6 tablets should not be crushed. Magvit B6 are enteric tablets. This means that the tablet breaks down only in the intestines and the active substance is released there. Crushing the tablet will cause that the formulation will be destroyed and the substance will begin to be absorbed in the inappropriate section of the gastrointestinal tract, which will not be enough. If you have a problem with swallowing a tablet, you can use other magnesium drugs that have tablets that are easy to swallow.
