Can I restore lactation after taking Dostinex?

Good morning I took diostinex 2 tablets a day ago at once to stop lactation but nevertheless it was my worst decision of life ... Can I do something so that lactation does not stop? I will add that the baby is 2 days on modified milk ... And as tight breasts it flies from them milk ..

After consuming the tablets, lactation has already slowed down - the effect of the drug is fast and long-lasting (up to three to four weeks), but if you would like to stimulate milk production again, you should use such methods as when starting lactation, e.g. frequent latching of the baby to the breast, stimulating the breast with a breast pump, breast massage, taking lactation stimulant products, i.e. barley malt - for this purpose it is best to contact an environmental midwife or Certified Advisor Lactation. Dostinex is only given with a prescription and modifications to the therapy ordered should be agreed with the doctor. Is it possible to return the milk, I drank the medicine 3 weeks ago and now I am very sorry, I would like to return the milk

I had lactostasis and wanted to reduce the amount of milk, since my one-month-old baby cannot suck all the milk. My husband went to the pharmacy and they called me. I said I have such a problem, there is a one-month-old baby, I asked what drug can help with this, they said, yes, we have pills that can reduce the amount of milk production, you need to drink 2 times in half. (It turned out to be Dostinex) and not even knowing what pill it was, I took it, and 2.3 days after taking it, my milk became clear and only drops barely came out. CAN HELP, I don't want to stop feeding. What Can Help To Get Milk Back? Mlecoline or Leptadene or Phyto Tea, Which One Is Effective

To @Anna:

You can express milk with a breast pump, but only until you feel relieved, not as much as you can.

Hello, the baby is 1.5, I decided to suspend breastfeeding with Dostinex.
I take 0.5 tablets in the morning and in the evening. Is it possible to drain milk during treatment?

There are no studies on the secretion of the drug into breast milk. The manufacturer provides information about not breastfeeding during treatment, does not mention the need to maintain a longer break. I only found information about t50% (the time when the concentration of the drug in the blood, serum or plasma will decrease to half the initial value) and is 63-68 h in healthy people and 79-115 h in patients with hyperprolactinemia. In women planning pregnancy, a 1-month break is recommended between treatment and the start of trying for a child, but this may be related not only to the concentration of the drug in the blood, but also to the effect on the hormonal balance.

And after what time can I try to put the child safely again? When will the drugs stop circulating in the blood?

You can express milk with a breast pump, but only to the feeling of relief, not to resist, make alternating cool and warm compresses, compresses from broken cabbage leaves. If you feel a lot of pain, thickening in the form of a lump, for this there is a fever - it is possible that breast inflammation develops, then you should see a doctor.

And what can I do so that the breasts are not so hard and painful? I'm afraid to get breast inflammation and the milk continues to leak ...
