What should I do if I have given Trulicity wrong?

I gave Trulicity incorrectly, my hand twitched and I injected about half the dose - I don't know what to do. Dose 3 mg. I am afraid that this will disturb the treatment.

In the case of Trulicity, the pen is semi-automatic and administration should continue until the characteristic "click" is heard. If a gray part is visible in the transparent chamber - it means that the drug has been administered. I attach a photo from the instructions attached by the manufacturer. However, if the drug was administered incorrectly, it is difficult to estimate exactly how much of the drug was not given and how important this amount is. Due to the fact that it is a semi-automatic, disposable pen and it is not possible to replace e.g. a needle - it may also not be possible to give the rest of the drug, which may not have been given. In such a situation, in my opinion, you should simply pay more attention to the correct administration of the next, planned dose in a week. Giving the same dose of the drug again now "just to be sure" may cause side effects and involve unnecessary risks. In case of doubt and uncertainty whether the dose has actually been administered - I recommend contacting the attending physician.
