Concomitant food intake does not affect the absorption of the medicinal product. It also does not increase the risk of diarrhea. Diarrhoea is a common side effect with Leflunomide. I wouldn't associate this with eating food while taking the drug. If diarrhea persists, it is worth reporting it to your doctor.
