Caffeine contained in coffee enhances the analgesic and antipyretic effect of paracetamol, which is one of the components of the drug Fervex. In addition, due to the effect of coffee on the stomach, I would suggest using a reasonable interval between drinking coffee and taking drugs such as Fervex or limit drinking coffee - if you have a cold, it is better to rest than to be stimulated by coffee.
