Can Metformax lower blood pressure?

Can metformax lower the pressure? The last few days the pressure in the morning and then I have 110/60 etc only about 16-17 is 136/70 etc. I have been taking Metformax for 2 months. Best regards

The drug Metformax contains metformin, which is not a medicine for hypertension, but has a very wide effect and indirectly it can also have a positive effect on parameters such as blood pressure. In addition, if you are treated with metformin due to sugar levels or overweight / obesity, changing eating habits, regular physical activity, limiting / giving up stimulants also has a positive effect in this regard. To sum up - so indirectly it can affect the pressure. In addition, other drugs that you use may also have an effect.
