Good morning. I have a question, can xelevia 50 mg (available in Germany) be used as a replacement for Galvus 50 mg?

The equivalents, i.e. preparations containing the same active substance sitagliptin, of Xelevia in Poland are Januvia https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/38814/januvia-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#stacjonarne and Ristaben https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/67674/ristaben-tabletki-powlekane/apteki#stacjonarne. Available on the Polish market in a dose of 100mg. Galvus is a preparation whose active substance is vildagliptin, a different substance than Xelevia, and which comes from the same group of dipeptidyl peptidase inhibitors 4. In order to replace Xelevia with a drug with another substance, or to start using Januvia or Ristaben preparations, which are available only in doses of 100mg in Poland, you should consult a doctor.
