On Sunday morning I peeled off my 3rd patch. Today is Monday night and I still haven't gotten the bleeding. This is my first pack. In a week I'm going on vacation to the sea and I'm afraid that until then there will be no bleeding only when I'm on vacation. Should I worry that the bloodsucking hasn't started?

Withdrawal bleeding usually does not start immediately (on the next day) after the start of the break. The level of hormones must decrease accordingly, which is a signal to start bleeding. It should occur during the week without the patch - a particular day is individually variable. In general, it appears 2-3 days after peeling off the patch. However, if it appeared, for example, on the 4th day, it would not be something incorrect either. The next Evra patch should be applied in a timely manner even if the withdrawal bleeding has not yet ended. Bleeding, on the other hand, should not begin only after applying the first patch from the next cycle. Presumably, the bleeding will begin soon and it is possible that it will subside by the time of departure or possibly drag on for the first days of the trip. Unfortunately, this is individually variable. Some women do not have withdrawal bleeding during the period of non-use of Evra. If the patch was used correctly, it is unlikely that the cause was pregnancy. However, if the product is not used as prescribed or if there are doubts about it, pregnancy should be excluded before continuing to use Evra.
