Good morning, studies show an excess of tryptophan. Is ashwagandha not recommended? I've never supplemented tryptophan – what can be the higher level of evidence? Thanks

The reason for the increased level of tryptophan may be diet. Tryptophan is provided by foods such as yellow cheeses, white cheeses, chicken eggs, cold cuts and meat. In principle, there are no contraindications to the use of ashwagandha with an increased level of tryptophan, but you should answer whether such supplementation will have the intended effect. An increased level of tryptophan may be associated with an improvement in mood, increased so-called life drive (to put it simply: the desire to live :)). Ashawagandha, on the other hand, is designed to prepare the body for increased stress, increase physical and mental performance. Therefore, I encourage you to consider whether supplementation is necessary.
