Hello, if I have diarrhea for 4 days but it does not occur within 3-4 hours of swallowing the contraceptive pill, is the protection maintained?

For @Liliana: It is worth using additional protection throughout the period of chronic diarrhea. When the symptoms of diarrhea subside, then there is no longer a need for additional protection and protection is preserved.
In that case, for how long to protect yourself additionally?
