Is it safe to postpone the hours of taking the antibiotic? My son has been taking ospen since Saturday, so far he has taken it at 3 and 3 p.m., but tonight I could not wake him up. And I wonder what if it was not a one-time action and I still have a problem with the administration of an antibiotic at night

Due to the possibility of using Ospen in 2 or 3 divided doses (depending on the doctor's indication), a single postponement of the time of use of the preparation should not affect the overall effectiveness of the therapy. To maintain the effectiveness of the treatment, you can once postpone the antibiotic intake from 3 o'clock to 23 o'clock (this will ensure a minimum interval of 8 hours from the dose administered by 15). The new hours of taking the drug are 11 a.m. and 11 p.m. However, the interval between individual doses should not be extended. Extending the interval will reduce the effectiveness of the antibiotic. I send the development of one of the preparations from the Ospen series: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/58157/ospen-1000-tabletki-powlekane/apteki
